Voice of a Woman, hosted by me, Linda Conway, is a platform dedicated to showcasing the best female talent in the music industry, with a focus on genres like blues, roots, folk, indie, and country. My passion for the female voice as an instrument, along with the stories embedded in songs, drives the essence of the program.
With over a decade of experience in radio, I have concentrated on independent and grassroots music scenes, where I believe the next big stars often emerge. I view music as more than just entertainment but as the lifeblood that can profoundly impact emotions and even change lives. In my day job working with individuals living with disabilities, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of music.
Voice of a Woman offers interviews, featured albums of the week, and other special segments, serving as a platform for listeners to discover new artists and engage in discussions about their favourites. My enthusiasm for music and my desire to connect with you the listener make Voice of a Woman an exciting addition and I am excited to be a part of the Radio New Wheels Team and showcase stunning female talent and share their stories through their voices.
